Our talented brewers are very proud of their new brewery, so please come and see them at work!

Brewery Tours -  We run brewery tours on Thursdays at 2.30 pm and Saturdays at 10.30 am (booking required).  Please contact Virginia at the Brewery to book your tour.   

Please be advised - we currently brew on weekdays only.  If you come on a Saturday tour you will not see the brewery in action brewing beer – however, you will still be given a full tour of the brewery.  

Our Saturday brewery tours are now fully booked until  the end of May. We do, however, have availability on our Thursday afternoon tours.

Brewery tours take 1.5 hours and include a tour of the brewery as well as a chance to sample some of our wonderful ales in our Brewery Shop. Cost: £10.00 per person.   Driver option:  £5 driver option.

 Ales and Rails

 with the Kent & East Sussex Railway

Minimum number: 10 people. (not Sundays) - when the trains are running

The ‘Ales and Rails’ group tours can be enjoyed in two ways:

Option 1 - £33.50 per person. 

Arrive at Tenterden Station and park for free. Start your guided tour of the brewery at 11.30am which lasts around an hour and a half.
Enjoy tastings and have time to browse in our brewery shop. Then stroll a few yards in time to take the 1.15pm steam departure where at your reserved seats a delicious Ploughmans Lunch will be served. The return trip to Bodiam is almost two hours, arriving back to Tenterden at 3.15pm.

Option 2 - £32.40 per person.

As above but start your guided tour of the brewery at 1.45pm. Then stroll a few yards in time to take the 3.35pm steam departure where at your reserved seats a delicious Cream Tea will be served. The return trip to Bodiam is almost two hours, arriving back to Tenterden at 5.35pm

Chapel Down and Old Dairy Brewery

Arrive at Chapel Down for the 10.30 am guided tour of the vineyards and winery, followed by a wine tasting. At 12.30 pm you can either enjoy a lunch at The Swan, Chapel Down (this must be pre-booked directly with The Swan) or take your coach into Tenterden for lunch.

At 2.30 pm arrive at Old Dairy Brewery and enjoy a Brewery Tour and a beer tasting before departing at 4.30 pm.

£18.00 per person (not including lunch).
Tours run from April – November.
The Old Dairy Brewery is located a short distance from Tenterden High Street.

Electric Bike Tours in Kent

Group tours with Electric Bike Tours, based at Bloomsbury Retreat, Biddenden, are now offering scheduled tours or a self-guided electric bike hire. Electric Bikes offer a unique experience viewing Kent on an electric bike!  They have a number of marked routes that pass many of Kent’s great attractions including historic castles, vineyards, a brewery, famous gardens, beautiful villages and lots more.  One of the popular trips is around the Weald visiting local vineyards or Old Dairy Brewery having a tour and tasting award ales and wines.

Old Dairy Brewery are offering a great group tour package with electric bikes (not available on Sundays). Normal price for bike and a tour is £55 discounted price of £46.25.  Includes hire of your bike as well as tour of the brewery.
